Problem

When churches reopened in 2020, after months closed by the pandemic, they had to register every person at the door — age, address, contact details and more — for contact tracing. Done on paper, registration was slow and tiring for the welcome teams.

Solution

Two tech team members who did this registration at their own churches proposed an app; leadership approved it and it was built and launched in 3 weeks. Each list records the temperature, name, neighbourhood and phone number of people entering, and lets the team look up already registered members by code or name.
